Previously known as the Flamingo, the VL3 Evolution is now a true Evolution of the classic old design. The VL3 Evolution boasts a Full Carbon composite design with Kevlar reinforced cockpit area. Retractable Undercarriage, Constant Speed Propellor, Garmin G3X with Synthetic vision, Garmin Autopilot, Electric Flaps, Ballistic parachute, Leather interior, Berringer brakes, Garmin Pitot with Angle of Attack indicator (AOC) plus stall warning, Cabin heating, landing lights and 120/140 litre fuel tanks to name a few of the standard features.
Design improvements have increased the VNE to 180 kts IAS.
Actual tests were conducted to 242 kts /450 km/hr (TAS)
Ultimate G loadings of +15 and – 8 have been confirmed by the Czech Aerospace Institute
